Makeup Services

  • CLOTHES: Wearing a top with a large neck opening will provide easy removal to ensure your clothing does not rub your finished makeup look.

  • HAIR: Style your hair before your makeup appointment to avoid sweating and prevent hair products from getting on your makeup.

  • BROWS: I highly recommend getting your brows shaped a couple of days before your makeup appointment.

  • MOISTURIZE: Hydrated skin is better than dry skin! Please ensure you consistently apply moisturizer morning and night for a minimum of two weeks before your appointment.

  • EXFOLIATE: Remove dead skin one week before your appointment. If you get waxed or threaded, make sure to exfoliate before, not after. Exfoliation helps keep the skin nice and smooth.

  • SPF: Apply SPF every day before sun exposure and reapply every 80 minutes to avoid getting sunburn, amongst other things.

DO NOT: Avoid new skincare treatments, strong facials, permanent makeup, facial procedures, or new waxing services the day before or day of your makeup appointment to prevent irritation or adverse reactions.

Tattoo & Permanent Makeup (PMU)

  • For the first 4 hours: pat the procedure area with a paper towel or lint-free soft gauze every 30 minutes to remove excess fluid.

  • After 24 hours: you may gently wash the area with cold-warm water using very mild unscented soap on the area.

  • Days 1-5: massage Mad Rabbit Tattoo Soothing Gel at least twice a day. This will help with inflammation and dryness.

  • Days 6-14: apply Mad Rabbit Tattoo Soothing Gel and layer Mad Rabbit Tattoo Balm Stick over top to soothe the tattoo itch, and lock in moisture.

  • First 1-6 weeks: always apply sunscreen until the area has fully healed to prevent sunburn and fading. I recommend Think Sport SPF 50.

  • Wear a hat to shield the area from the sun when you go outside

DO NOT

  • Do not immediately touch the procedure area with your fingers as they may have bacteria on them and create an infection. Please always ensure your hands are clean before making contact with the skin.

  • Avoid products that contain fragrance as they may irritate.

  • Avoid extreme sweating, swimming, tanning, hot sauna, and Botox for at least 14 days.

  • Avoid laser hair removal, facials, or chemical peels for at least 4-6 weeks.

  • Avoid using products that contain AHA’s on the procedure area as they will fade the color (Example: Glycolic, Lactic Acids)

  • Do not apply makeup on the procedure area for at least 14 days.
